Founded in 2015, Verus Mortgage Capital is a non-agency correspondent investor backed by Invictus Capital Partners, a leading investment firm. Verus was specifically created to address the growing demand for specialized lending solutions that fall outside of conventional mortgage loans.

We invest in loans originated in all 50 states and the District of Columbia and buy both owner-occupied (consumer) and investor (business) loans.

In 2023, we expanded our operations to include a wholesale channel that helps brokers take advantage of the non-agency market to better serve their borrowers. Verus knows how to close loans quickly and efficiently, making us a preferred partner for brokers who find us easy to work with. Unlike passthrough investors, we bring extensive experience in managing our portfolio of non-agency loans, ensuring a seamless process.
